Cold Water Brewery

About the employer

South Lake Tahoe is a mountain beach town.  South Shore is also known for its nightlife and entertainment. One of the largest freshwater lakes in the world nestled in the Sierra Mountain range.  A magical playground of all kinds of recreation; biking, fishing, skiing, camping, hiking, climbing, paddle boarding, kayaking and so much more. Working in Lake Tahoe you will be close to San Francisco, Napa, and the Pacific Ocean and just only an 8-hour drive is separating you from L.A. and Disneyland.

Housing Information: The employer is not providing housing, but it is easy to access one from the many international housing available in the area every season. The best recommendation is Matterhorn since this place work with j-1’s and is very familiar with what the students need.
Arrival Information: Please fly into Reno, Nevada. Reno is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from South Lake Tahoe.  The best part of arriving in Reno is they have a Social Security office right near the airport.  You can get all your paperwork done prior to heading up to the mountains.  No worries if you can’t fly into Reno we can make a trip to the Social security office for those students that don’t get it done when they first arrive.
